Important topics to prepare for NEET

Biology Important topics:

1. Genetics, Ecology & Environment, Cell Biology, Morphology of plants and animals, Basics of Biotechnology, Reproduction, Physiology of Animals & Plants.
2. The following chapters constitute 25% of the total questions Living World, Biological classification, Plant Kingdom, Morphology of plants, and Anatomy of plants.
3. The following chapters constitute 30% of the total questions Transport in Plants, Mineral Nutrition, Photosynthesis, Respiration, Plant Growth and Development, Digestion, Respiration, Body fluids and Circulation, Excretion, Locomotion and movement, and Nervous system and the Endocrine system.
4. Ecology & Environment constitutes about 10% of the total questions.
5. The remaining 5% of questions from Genetics, Biotechnology, etc will be fairly easy.

Chemistry Important topics: 

1. General Organic Chemistry, Mole Concept, Periodic Table, Coordination Chemistry, Chemical Bonding.
2. Physical Chemistry: 10% of Questions asked in the Exam are Theory based. 90% of Questions asked in the Exam are Numerical.
3. Organic chemistry: First solve Numerical from NCERT then read Theory.
4. Inorganic chemistry: 30% of Questions asked in the Exam are Theory based. 70% of Questions asked in the Exam are Numerical.”
5. Class XI physical chemistry chapters constitute 25% of the total questions (such as basic concepts of chemistry, States of matter, etc)
6. Class XII physical chemistry chapters constitute 15% of the total questions (such as Redox reactions, Solid state, solutions, etc)
7. Class XI Organic chemistry chapters constitute 5% of the total questions (such as Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry, etc)
8. Class XII Organic chemistry chapters constitute 25% of total questions (such as Haloalkanes and haloarenes, Biomolecules, etc)
9. Class XI inorganic chemistry constitutes 10% of total questions (such as Hydrogen, s-block elements, etc)
10. Class XII inorganic chemistry constitutes 20% of the total questions (such as Metallurgy, d & f – block elements, etc)

Physics Important topics: 

1. Optics, Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, Thermodynamics, Electrodynamics, Atomic & Molecular Physics, kinematics, laws of motion, electrostatics, and magnetic effects of current and modern physics.
2. 15% of the Questions asked in Exam are Theory based. 85% of Questions asked in the Exam are Numerical.”
3. The following chapters constitute 25% of the total questions in Physics: Units and Measurements, kinematics, laws of motion, Motion in a straight line and in a plane, Work, Energy & power, System of particles and rotational motion, Gravitation, Fluid statics.
4. The following chapters constitute 30% of the total questions: Waves and oscillations, Electric charges and field, Electrostatic potential and capacitance, current electricity, and magnetic effects of current.
5. The following chapters constitute 20% of the total questions: Dual Nature of matter, Atoms, and nuclei, Semiconductor electronics, Thermodynamics

1. Give an introduction of the topic first
2. Explain your introduction with proper facts and figures and then the conclusion your explanation must have a proper link between your introduction and your conclusion as well
3. The more perspectives you will explain your answer from, the more chances you will have to carry higher marks and NEET Exam also demands this from us. For example, if you write a history question, try to explain or write that answer not only from a basic perspective but also you should try to explain that one from the perspective of advance in the topic.
4. Your answer must have a proper link with what the question is demanding actually from you.
5. Pay your focus on the quality within the proper word limits
6. Your answer must be divided into some paragraphs
7. Try to highlight important quotes or important opinions
8. Try to use simple sentences and input simple words known to all
9. Don’t go beyond the question demands or question topic
10. Try to answer to the point. Don’t give anything extra.
11. Your answer must be positive overall. You must be optimistic in answering questions.
12. Use your own language to write.
13. If you can make a proper diagram or chart in your answer, it will be also helpful too
14. Try to avoid sticking off your answers or lines repeatedly.
15. Focus on your handwriting too because it is also very important.
