MHT CET Exam Date

The MHT CET exam (officially known as the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra annually. MHT CET Exam Pattern

The MHT CET Exam pattern is set by the conducting body, i.e., the state Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell). The MHT CET Exam date and Pattern provide a blueprint for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, providing insight into its structure and format. Candidates need to understand this pattern to crack the exam effectively.

The MHT CET exam generally consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and assesses candidates in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics. The exam pattern mentions the distribution of marks across all subjects, which helps candidates allocate their time wisely during the exam.

Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std. XII curriculum while setting the question paper. There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and the difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET.
