PRMO 2021 FAQs : Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad

The Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE) on behalf of the National Advanced Mathematics (NBHM) of the Department of Mathematics Olympiads in India is organizing the participation of Indian students in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Atomic Energy (DAE) is a major initiative taken by the Government of India, NBHM. Its main purpose is to show the artistic talent of mathematics among the pre-university students of the country.

For the purposes of educating and selecting students for the Olympiad competition, 25 areas have been designated across the country and each of them has been assigned a regional coordinator (RC). In addition, Kendriya Madhyamik Shikshan Mandal (CBSE), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatana (KVS) each have a “Regional Coordinator”. The Maths Olympiad program consists of six stages.

What is the exam fee?
