  6. Digestion is both intracellular and intercellular. Respiratory, circulatory and excretory systems are absent.
  7. Nervous system is of most primitive type in the form of network of nerve cells and their processes. Nerve net of synaptic or non-synaptic pattern with the  diffuse conduction. 
  8. Asexual reproduction occurs by budding or fission; gametes. Sexual forms. sexual reproduction by monoecious or dioecious.Development exhibits planula larva, hydrula larva (In Hydra).
