MHT CET Syllabus 2025 for PCM and PCB PDF Free
The MHT-CET 2023 syllabus includes topics from both Class 11 and Class 12 of the Maharashtra State Board. The subjects covered are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. It’s important for candidates to review the syllabus before beginning their exam preparation.
Qualifying in MHT-CET allows candidates to pursue professional courses like B.Tech/B.E, B.Pharm, and Pharm D in Maharashtra. Since 2016, the merit list is created by giving equal weightage (50%) to both Class 12 marks and the MHT-CET score.
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is a state-level entrance exam for admission to engineering and pharmacy programs in various colleges across Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts this exam annually in an online format.
For 2024, the Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the MHT-CET exam dates due to the Lok Sabha Elections. The new dates for the engineering exam are May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17. The PCB exam dates are April 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30.

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2025
The questions will be based on Syllabus of State Council Of Educational Research And Training, Maharashtra. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std.XII curriculum while setting the question paper. There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based. MHT-CET will consist of 3 question papers of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks. Details are as given below :
